What Is Ment By Inductive Reasoning?| Method of Classroom Setting
What
is meant by inductive reasoning? Provide examples regarding application of this
method in class room setting.
INDECTIVE
REASON:-
In inductive teaching method
and philosophy, it is allow to learners to discover and experience phenomenon
to achieve learning on their own behalf.
Discovery teaching and inquiry-based
teaching are other strategies associated with inductive teaching. In this
method of teaching the learner are provided with opportunities to observe,
experience raise questions and formulate generalization from the learning
experience that they are exposed to. It depends totally on the teacher’s
ability that how efficiently he could present the learning material as the
shape of activities for the student to generate a sound interest of learning.
Why Inductive
is Essential:-
As we know that inductive
method of learning helps to student to understand an object very easily. So this
method of teaching allows many opportunities for student’s interaction with
each other, and open the different ways of learning by combination with each
other. This method help to improve the brainstorming, buzz seasons, and experiment
are just some example of inductive teaching methods may be applied.
UMBRELLA
TERM:-
Inductive teaching and
learning method is called an umbrella term that compasses arrange of
instructional method including inquiry based learning, problem based learning, project
based learning, case based learning, discovery based learning. These methods
have many features in common besides the fact that they all qualify as
inductive. They impose more responsibility on students for their own learning
than traditional lecture based learning.
They are all supported their own
learning b y research findings that students learn by fitting new information
into exciting new cognitive a structure and are unlikely to learn if the information
has few apparent connection to what they already know.
ASSESSMENT
OF INDUCTION METHOD:-
There are many varieties of
inductive reasoning, which implemented with instructor involvement of teamwork
with most of the work being done in classroom.
The conclusion drawn from a study may
depend strongly on the learning outcome investigated of factual knowledge. An inductive
method may be superior with respect to one outcome and inferior with respect to
another. A short example of this strategy in the case of problem based learning
which has frequently been found to superior high level skills and attitudes.
ADVANTAGES
OF INDUCTIVE:-
1- In
this method of teaching the learners are more engaged in the teaching learning
process with our facilitating skills the learners formulate the generalization.
2- Learners
become more interesting at the outset because we begin with what they know.
3- It helps
the development of our learner’s higher-order, thinking skills to see and
analyze the same in order to arrive at generalizations requires analytical
thinking.
EXAMPLES OF INDUCTIVE METHOD:-
Using
the inductive method, the teacher presents the students with a specific
challenge or problem, such as an experiment that needs to be interpreted or a
real world problem that needs to be solved. The students must then use their
base knowledge to investigate, test, analyze and come to their own conclusion
or solution the inductive method, which is commonly interpreted in schools as
the scientific method is widely used as a guide for observation and inquiry
based learning.
For example
A school teacher want to learn and explain his students about the concept of Green
colour.
First of all
he will give the students leaves of some plants or Grass. He give a plant leave
to a student on his left side, give a leave of grass to another student setting
on his right side. One leave gives to the last student who is setting in last
row and one to a student who is middle in the class. He should keep in mind
that the leaves are different in plants or grass but same in colour, that is “Green”.
So actually the teacher teaching the students awareness of colour.
Now the
teacher ask the students one by one to show the leaves which are in their hands
all the students show their leaves one by one, then teacher ask what is the colour
of the leaves?, one of them replies, this colour is green teacher agreed with
his answer and appreciate that student. Then he tells the students, this clolur
is green and you remember one more thing that all leaves of plants, grass or
Trees have Green clolur.
Here we see
that students listen carefully the teacher speech, and they show their interest
in this activity, so the result is that, they easily and efficiently learnt
about green clolur, and also the clolur of leaves. So this example tells that
inductive method by using activity is very useful and easy to learn.
